In short: MoonRaid is an unofficial community. Bats are shop credit, not money. Play fair, keep your Steam account safe, and expect that servers restart and wipe. This is a summary; the full text below applies.
These terms apply when you use the MoonRaid website and shop. By signing in or buying something you agree to them.
Who we are
MoonRaid is an independent community that runs Rust servers and this website. MoonRaid is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Facepunch Studios or Valve. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios Ltd.
Who may use it
You must be at least 13 years old, the age Steam asks for.
Your account
You sign in with your Steam account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep it safe: we cannot restore bats or items that were lost because someone else used your account.
Bats and shop items
- Bats are shop credit for this website and the MoonRaid servers. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be withdrawn and cannot be transferred between players.
- At the moment bats cannot be bought. They are earned in game by exchanging batteries. If buying ever opens, these terms and the Refunds page will say so before it does.
- Items, ranks and kits are virtual goods for the MoonRaid server they were bought for. A rank lasts for the time written on it, counted from the moment you take it with
/claim. - What you have paid for but not taken yet waits in your
/claimbasket on that server. It does not expire at a wipe. - Items you hold in game are lost at a wipe like everything else.
- Prices, items and exchange rates can change at any time. The price you see when you pay is the price you pay.
Rules and bans
You must follow the rules. Cheating or abusing the shop can lead to the removal of items and bats and to a ban from the servers and the site. Bats have no cash value, so they are not paid out or refunded when an account is banned.
No guarantees
We do our best to keep the servers and the website running, but we do not promise that they will always be available or free of errors. Servers can restart, wipe or go offline without notice. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from downtime, bugs or wipes.
Changes
We may change these terms, the shop and the exchange rates. The date at the top shows when this page was last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
