In short: you sign in with Steam, and we keep only what the shop needs: your public Steam profile, your bats history, your orders and, if you link it, your Discord ID. No ads, no trackers, no selling of data. This is a summary; the full text below applies.
This page says what the MoonRaid website stores about you and why.
What we receive from Steam
When you sign in with Steam, Steam tells us your public Steam ID. We then read your public Steam profile to get your display name and your picture. We never see your Steam password, your e-mail address or your payment details.
What we store
- Your Steam ID, your Steam name and the web address of your Steam picture (they are shown at the top of the pages and are read from Steam again from time to time), when you first signed in and when you signed in last.
- Your bats balance, and the list of every change to it: batteries you exchanged, purchases, returns, bonuses and changes made by an admin.
- Your orders, their delivery status and the items in your cart.
- If you link Discord: your Discord user ID.
- Which kits you have taken, so that a kit cannot be taken twice in a period.
We use this to run the shop, to deliver your purchases, to help you when something goes wrong and to stop abuse.
What we do not store
The website does not write IP addresses to its database or to its logs, and it does not use advertising or analytics trackers. An address is held in memory for a short time only, to limit abuse such as too many sign-in attempts.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work: one that keeps you signed in (30 days), one that remembers which server you looked at last (1 year), and short-lived ones for signing in and for one-time messages. Nothing is used for tracking.
Who can see it
Admins of MoonRaid can look up players and orders to run the shop and to help with problems. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. Steam and Discord know what you do on their own services.
Keeping and deleting
We keep this data as long as the account exists and as long as it is needed to run the shop and to stop abuse. You can ask to see your data, to correct it or to have it deleted: write to us (Discord) and an admin will answer. A record of who received what and when may be kept for a reasonable time to prevent fraud.
Children
MoonRaid is not meant for children under 13.
